Once you’ve had an Alabama license, you always have an Alabama license. If you did not keep it current, then the status is lapsed and you will need to reinstate it. If, however, you have been licensed in a different category than the one you were licensed in in Alabama, you would need to endorse that license. For example, if you were licensed as an LPN in Alabama and were subsequently licensed as an RN in another state, you would need to endorse your RN license into Alabama.
