Nurses in VDAP do not qualify for Compact licensure. If you are currently enrolled in VDAP, you cannot apply for a Compact license.
If you currently hold a Compact license and enroll in VDAP, your multistate license will be deactivated, making you a single state licensee, until all encumbrances are satisfied.
Once you complete your VDAP agreement successfully, you will be able to apply for licensure under the Compact.
