Nurses serving in the military, who will be deployed during their biennial licensure renewal period, may submitted documentation prior to deployment to maintain licensure without lapsing. The license will not lapse during the deployment, provided that the following conditions are met:

• The license is active at the time of deployment.
• The licensee provides the Board a copy of the military activation or deployment orders, or other proof of active military service, in advance of the deployment.
