Attention APRN Applicants
A process using paper applications and external primary source reviews has been developed to assist advanced practice nurses who have been affected by the cybersecurity event at the ABN. Currently, the focus is on applications for initial advanced practice approval, reinstatements, and new collaborations. Paper applications to use for these processes are here.
On the “new collaboration” application:
- Please check the box that indicates if your application for collaboration was in progress at the time of the system outage on 09/01/2026. This will help us match the paper application to your current record when the system is restored.
- Please submit all the requested information, even if it was previously sent with your electronic application. Having all the information available in one place will make processing your application go more smoothly.
- Incomplete applications, or those missing the requested information will not be processed. Please be thorough.
- If you submitted payment at the time of the electronic application submission, please include your payment receipt.
- If you have not previously submitted payment, please send a certified check or money order with your application.
Should you need to modify an existing collaboration or terminate a collaboration, we are asking that you hold that information until the licensing system is operational.
