The Alabama Board of Nursing is established by the Alabama Legislature to ensure the health and safety of the public by ensuring that patient care in the state is delivered by adequately educated, trained, and licensed nurses, among other members of the healthcare community. We strive to promote understanding and collaboration between citizens, licensees, and ourselves as regulators.
