The ABN Center for Nursing Excellence (CNE) is designed to promote and safeguard the health of the public through the provision of education, training, and access to workforce information. The CNE links three components directly to licensees, employers, educators, and the public. Recognizing that transformative nursing leadership is key to promoting the professional growth necessary to accommodating the ever-changing healthcare landscape, the ABN has designed each component of the CNE to serve the Board’s mandate of public protection, provide value-added resources to Alabama nurses, and improve care delivery, professional performance, and patient outcomes.
