Information

The Alabama Board Nursing is required to provide continuing education (CE) to its licensees to ensure that Alabama citizens receive the best care possible. The ANRC serves as the ABN’s repository for production and maintenance of Board-provided CE courses.

Additionally, to aid in the dissemination of knowledge and to foster a learning environment where the patient may benefit, the ANRC will offer Graduate Nursing Students a venue for the following:

  • Clinical rotations, with a regulatory or public health focus.
  • CE Development, through sharing of completed, select graduate school assignments as CE programs on the ANRC website.
  • Research/Evidence-Based Projects, by providing an opportunity for interested graduate nursing students to access ABN data, satisfy educational requirements, and contribute to nursing regulation research.

Application

The ABN may be used as a clinical site for approved graduate nursing students. If you are interested in completing clinical hours at the ABN, please check with your graduate nursing program to see if the ABN is an eligible clinical site for your program of study.
