To ensure that you are able to apply for your temporary permit and Authorization to Test for the NCLEX, we have developed a paper application process. Please note that payment must be made either with certified funds (cashier's check or money order) or a personal check written on an Alabama bank with the applicant's name imprinted on it.

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. If further information is required, staff will contact you. When all requirements have been met, the Board will issue your temporary permit and eligibility to test, and the Board's website will be revised to reflect your valid temporary permit. Pearson Vue will then issue your Authorization to Test.
