The Alabama Board of Nursing issues permits to Nursing Support Technicians, Certified (NSTs) under authority granted by Article I of the Alabama Nurse Practice Act. The rules governing NST-C practice in the state of Alabama may be found in Chapter 17 of the ABN Administrative Code.
