| EDUCATION | You must have completed either: - A Board-approved Nursing Support Technician, Certified (NST) education program in Alabama, or an NST-C program located in another jurisdiction or territory that substantially meets the same educational criteria as Alabama programs;
- An educational program in Alabama provided by the Alabama Community College System (ACCS) for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician;
- A hospital based educational program that substantially meets the training and competency validation requirements;
- NUR 112 (ACCS Nursing Education Program): Foundations of Nursing (Alabama Community College System Curriculum) or a substantially equivalent course; OR
- US Armed Forces training equivalent to educational preparation for US Army Healthcare Specialist, US Navy Corpsman, or USAF Medical Technician

| TRANSCRIPT | You must request that the organization (education program, hospital, etc.) that provided your educational preparation provide documentation (transcript, attestation, certificate) substantiating the scope and content of the education completed. This documentation must be provided directly from the organization to the ABN as primary source verification.- Employer Based Programs –
